Dr. Janani J is a Pediatric & Preventive Dentist and the Founder of Velora Dental Care, Anna Nagar, Chennai. With an MDS in Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry and over 6 years of post-MDS clinical experience, she is dedicated to providing gentle, evidence-based dental care for children and families.

She completed her BDS from SRM Dental College and MDS in Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry from RGUHS, securing 5th rank in her postgraduate studies.

Her clinical interests include preventive dentistry, early childhood caries, pediatric root canal treatments, stainless steel and zirconia crowns, early orthodontics, dental trauma management and comprehensive pediatric dental care.

Dr. Janani believes that a child’s first dental experiences can influence their attitude toward oral health for years to come. Her approach combines gentle behaviour management, preventive care and clear parent education to make dental visits comfortable and positive.

Beyond clinical dentistry, she is currently pursuing a PG Certificate in Healthcare Management from IIM Trichy, with an interest in healthcare management, innovation and improving patient experiences.
